The beginning of Rosie the Wonder Tripawds Tribute

It’s been 10 months since Rosie crossed the rainbow bridge.  It has been so hard, and I haven’t been able to start telling her story, until now.

I will never regret the decision to amputate, it just wasn’t in the cards for Rosie to make it for long.  She did have three months, got to play in the snow, and got lots of belly rubs.

I will add to this later.  It was all I could do to log in tonight and begin.

I will post pics and write a tribute she deserves.

I would also like to give a tribute to all of the wonderful friends I made on this site.   I didn’t vanish, and the support and encouragement meant the world.  I just couldn’t come back….   You all do an amazing service and I am so grateful to have found you.  -Best, Kellye

  1. We lost our Murphy just a few months after you lost Rosie, and I also find it difficult to be here. I used to check into the forums multiple times a day, pop into chat, hang around ..but it’s just so hard. I do find that I feel good when I can help someone, when I can share his story with someone.
She was a beautiful girl with a great smile. I can’t wait to hear more of her story.

  2. We’re so glad you came back to share more of Rosie’s life with us, thank you.

Your girl was such a sweet, special Tripawd who will inspire others in their own search for comfort and hope during a very scary time. Rosie’s legend will live on here for all time, and is part of the fabric of this community that makes it so wonderful. Thank you thank you.

Much love & hugs coming your way.
